The conference reception will be held in the Community Terrace room of the Monona Terrace, overlooking Lake Monona. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Enjoy live music by Expression Jazz. Drop in anytime between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m. to meet and visit with your conference colleagues.

If the weather cooperates, you may wish to wander up to the Rooftop Garden of Monona Terrace before heading out to any of the fine downtown restaurants available within close walking distance of the conference center.

Expression Jazz

One of the premier jazz trios performing around southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois regions, Expression Jazz performs a wide range of jazz compositions, specializing particularly in the music and style of the legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans. In addition, Expression Jazz performs a number of original pieces composed by pianist Michael B.B., and spanning a wide gamut of styles from traditional to contemporary to latin. The group currently has three CD recordings, the most recent under the pseudonym of "The Bill Evans Repertory Trio" and featuring works either composed by Bill Evans or works made popular through interpretations with his trio.
